You can, in fact, get over anxiety.
A person dealing with anxiety is not an anxious person with anxiety forever in their DNA.
Rather, they are a person that currently experiences anxious tendencies.
There’s a pervasive, self-defeating and self-fulfilling belief that anxiety is a life sentence. It’s not.
At the moment-to-moment level, someone who experiences anxiety suffers from a high frequency of worrisome thoughts throughout their days.
Experienced meditators learn that their thoughts are NOT who they are. More importantly, those thoughts, and thought-patterns, are very manipulatable.
If an anxious person has 95% less daily anxious thoughts for six months or a year straight… are they still an anxious person?
